Should we feel “Guilt” ?

I talk to many who go through their lives thinking they should of said or did that to someone, they would have been better off for it..  They actually feel “guilty” for something they said or did or they didn’t say or do to someone.  So voice (s)  what is the reason for feeling “GUILT ?”

Voice:  Why is it your human minds must harbor un-neccessary emotion …Guilt is nothing more than the lack of learning how to NOT be in control of situations.  We say that you each came here to learn your own lessons and NO ONE can control the outcome of your lessons..NO ONE !!!!!   You may think you are helping someones life situation by being there for them, but in reality you help hinder their growth.  Now we are not saying that you should not help each other when the other “ask” for your help or advice on anything, but do not allow yourself to get lost in the other persons life path choices without their consent…When one does this, this is where you allow the energy of “guilt” to seep into your consiousness.

You all came here to experience, experience and experience !!!!!  How can you allow yourselves to even feel guilty by your experiences ?  With your experiences, comes your lessons and with your lessons, comes your WISDOM…We say wow…what a Gift!!  So remove the word or feeling of GUILT from your thot process…you will be better off for it..

With love in our hearts and a twinkles in our eyes, the voice 🙂

I contend that no emotions are inherently bad. All emotions provide the opportunity to learn, and grow, or fester, and build potential.

Guilt can drag you down, may even hold you down. Guilt can eat away at the protective barrier you have around your identity. But it is there as a beacon, a glowing indicator, that you do not agree with a choice you made. Think about that. How can “you” not agree with a choice “you” made?

This type of moral dissonance is a potent and powerful tool for spiritual growth. I contend that guilt is not a bad thing, but an opportunity to learn more about yourself. However, just as all of the ostensibly “bad” emotions, if you are not engaging them, or learning from them, you run the risk of being consumed – even destroyed.

Success in this experience is not guaranteed. In fact, failure is an expected and important part of this process.

Very thought-provoking post, Posithot. Thank you!

Thank you “time spiral” for your expansion of the emotion of “guilt” and all I strongly agree with the way you took it further into a thot process. Re-member it is our “thot” that we cannot succeed in overcoming any opportunity to learn more about ourselves…so I say, go about your day ALWAYS thinking/knowing that you will succeed in “getting it” and moving on…
